Sunshine and Shadows October 16th

Wildflowers silhouetted against a glowing sunset and distant mountains

 1. Good news. Monica Colclasure has gone home from Valley Manor Care Center.

 2. Sad to say that our dance community has lost a wonderful friend and long time dancer Dale Percival died. One day after his 99th birthday on 10/10/26 he passed. He was alert on his birthday morning, and his entry table was loaded with birthday cards. The family showed all of them to him and read the messages. So he knew that many, many people, including his dance family, loved and cared about him. Dale was happy to be back on the dance floor at Pat McBride’s round dance class on Tuesday nights. Dale’s home address is 642 Gold Leaf Court, Grand Junction, 81505.

 3. Dot Doherty is still recovering from her back surgery and she is gaining strength at Hope Springs Care Center in Montrose. The phone of the Center is 970-249-9683. You can send cards or notes for Dot to Stacey Lee at 226 Castle Ave, Montrose, 81401. Stacey will pass them on to Dot.

 4. Our dance community is still grieving the loss of a lovely lady and friend Sue Whitcomb. Cards can be sent to Sue’s husband Jay at P.O.Box 498, La Plata, MN, 87428. Our prayers and thoughts are with them.
